Who are you?

My Name is Kang, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, providing my services in West London, Chiswick W4, Kew, Richmond, Barnes, Surrey and surrounding areas.

Why did you choose to become a Personal Trainer?

I’ve always been active growing up, basketball was my main sport and I dabbled in different styles of martial arts.
When I started working I really got out of shape, so bad I could barely run for 10 mins, I was so determined to get back in shape and be able to run longer I ended up learning everything I could about how the body works. As my body got more and more results I decided that I wanted to make this my career because I knew exactly what it was like to be out of shape, I knew what it was like to start from the beginning, and I knew that I could help someone.

What can I expect ?

Before we start the exercise, I’ll put you through a full consultation, finding out about your needs, what your goals are, when you’d like to achieve them, what injuries you have? etc.
This is very important as the more information I have, the better I can personalise the training session to suit your needs.
During the consultation process I will be analysing your kinetic chain, this will include the use of static postural assessments and functional movement screens that will highlight the possible muscular imbalances. We will go through flexibility testing as well as bodyfat assessments and find out what your likes/dislikes are.

How are you different from other trainers?

My belief is that you should use every resource available to help get you the desired results, I like to keep exercise fun and use a wide range of tools from kettlebells, ropes, suspension trainers and sandbags/power bags.
I’m always researching and increasing my knowledge to stay ahead of the curve, I’m always refining my techniques so that you get the best results.
I like to change my exercises to add variety and keep the session motivated, if we find that you are unable to perform the exercise then I will teach you another one until we can progress back up.
I will always tailor the session to suit your energy levels, its important to listen to how your body is responding to the exercise.
My oldest client is 77 years old, my client base range from city workers, singers, the elderly, to your average person.

How can you help?

I’ve made it my personal mission in getting people that dramatic body transformation, its really what I love seeing when I’m working with a client. Improving your health and movement is a big part of the transformation too.
I’m a big believer in giving the best customer service and want you to have the best experience.
I’m firm but fair so I expect as much from you as you expect from me. This is a big lifestyle change and sometimes it can be a lengthy process but it can happen and I’ve seen it change people’s lives.

Where do the training sessions take place?

It’s entirely up to you. Some clients prefer that I go to their house, train in their garden or go to a local park. I have all the equipment with me so you still get a good workout. I also use 2 exclusive personal training studio’s in Wentworth and in Chiswick both with the latest equipment.
